Our Vision, Our Mission, Our Calling

The words “Spiritual Disciplines” can be scary to think about. For us, this is just a fancy way of saying that we promote prayer, fasting, Bible study, generosity, community, and service. The primary goal is that we all grow in Christ and these are just some of the ways we achieve that.

Being connected to others within the church is vital to our spiritual growth. One of our Spiritual Disciplines is community. To grow in our faith we must walk with others, share our stories, and bear one another’s burdens. At Seymour Church, small groups is the primary way in which we connect with others. We are forming new small groups and believe there is one that you will feel right at home in.

At Seymour Church, we believe that serving the community both locally and globally is what we are called to do. We partner with local mission organizations and a mission in Mexico to help fulfill the Great Commission. We believe that ministry happens outside of the walls of the church. There are opportunities to serve and love those within our own backyard.
